“The Language of Glass” by The National Capital Art Glass Guild

The National Capital Art Glass Guild (NCAGG) is an organization whose members work in all forms of glass art including kiln-formed (fused), blown, mosaic, stained, and lamp-worked. Through exhibitions, the NCAGG promoted all aspects of glass as an art form.

This juried exhibition encourages artists to explore the dynamic qualities of glass through movement, flow, form, surface, color, and lines. 

The Bethesda Painting Awards Exhibition

June 4, 2026 – June 28, 2026

The Bethesda Painting Awards, founded in 2005, is downtown Bethesda’s annual juried art competition that exclusively honors painters from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Eight artists have been selected by the panel of judges to exhibit their artwork June 2026 at Gallery B:

The Trawick Prize Exhibition

September 3, 2026 – September 27, 2026

The Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards produced by the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District honors artists from Maryland, Washington, D.C. & Virginia.

Eight finalists will be selected for consideration for Trawick Prize. This year’s jury consists of Mollye Bendell, Assistant Professor of Art at University of Maryland; Alanna Fields, Photography Lecturer at Howard University; and Michael Jones McKean, Associate Professor of Sculpture + Extended Media at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Location

Gallery B is located in downtown Bethesda at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite E.
The Bethesda Metro is two blocks south of the gallery, and public parking garages are located on Wisconsin Avenue and Old Georgetown Road.
