Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland & Holiday Market

Celebrate the holiday season Saturday, December 6th on Norfolk and Cordell Avenues in downtown Bethesda with Santa Claus, live ice sculpting, live music, face painting, games and more! Please bring a new toy for Toys for Tots. And don’t miss the Holiday Market with URBN Market and 50 artisans.

Join us for a full afternoon of holiday fun! Activities include:

Student Concert

Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland will feature a student concert on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 2- 4pm. A choral concert from local school and arts organizations will take place along Norfolk and Cordell Avenues in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. Each group will perform winter inspired music or holiday music. Children will also have the opportunity to enjoy free crafts, games and more.

Ice Sculpting

Winter Wonderland features a live ice sculpting presentation!

The ice sculpting presentation takes place Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 12:30-2pm on Norfolk Avenue (near the St. Elmo Avenue intersection) in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle.

Watch as blocks of ice are transformed into magnificent pieces of art. The ice sculptor will use chainsaws, ice picks and other tools to transform the ice and awe the audience.

A student concert will follow the presentation.

Holiday Market

We are excited to announce that Winter Wonderland now includes a holiday market!

URBNmarket is a curated marketplace where artisan vendors can connect with communities to sell their hand-made and vintage creations. There will be 40-50 local vendors selling handcrafted goods, including crocheted toys, Christmas tree ornaments, curated vintage clothing, purses, art prints, soaps, knitted works, jewelry, and so much more!
