This new program at Connie Morella Library will allow individuals, including those with disabilities, to read to a calm, gentle dog in a low-pressure environment. Reading aloud to a therapy dog can be a beneficial experience for adults and teens promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, and improving communication skills. This interaction can also boost reading fluency and confidence. Bring your own book or select one from our display.
Please register at the information desk for a 15 minute session, starting one hour before the program begins.
