DESCRIPTION:This workshop will help you understand the process of writing a novel so you can get started putting pen to paper. The workshop will focus on everything from generating ideas to developing characters to establishing point of view. Participants will discuss many elements of fiction (dialogue\, scene\, etc.) but the emphasis will be on discovering the writing process that works best for each writer.

SUMMARY:Flashback Friday: Celebrate 75 Years of MCPL!
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate 75 years of library services with us as we craft book nooks! A book nook is a miniature diorama that fits between books on a shelf\, bringing different stories and scenes to life. We’ll craft a book nook from start to finish for you to take home with you! \nRegistration for this program is required. Registration for children ages 6 to 12 is available with adult supervision. We will have two versions of the book nook that are age appropriate. Ages 6 to 12 will receive a paper book nook to craft. Ages 13 and up will receive a wooden book nook to craft. \nRegistration opens on May 26th at 10am.
