The AU Gospel Choir is comprised of American University students, staff and alumni. The group has performed at events, churches, and festivals all over the Greater Washington, D.C. area and in New York City

The Capitol G's

The Capitol G's are Georgetown University’s contemporary all-male a cappella group. Featuring a diverse repertoire of rock, R&B, hip-hop and pop music, the G's pride themselves on their vocally impressive and highly entertaining performances. In addition to singing at high-profile concerts and popular events on the Georgetown University campus, the Capitol G's also perform regularly with other groups in D.C., Philadelphia and other areas.

Faux Paz

Faux Paz is the University of Maryland's oldest co-ed a cappella group.  Comprised of some of College Park's finest young men and women, the group always strives to help the audience have a great time- and they always have a great time doing it.  The group has traveled all over the country, performing at colleges, high schools, and private events from Boston to New Orleans to Los Angeles, and everywhere in between.

Faux Paz has frequently competed in the International Championships of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA).  They recently advanced to the ICCA Semifinals in 2011 after placing 2nd in the Quarterfinal. Additionally, Faux Paz has released four studio albums. Their fourth album, released in 2007 has received national attention, and three different tracks from the disc were selected for the national and international "best-of" compilation CDs BOCA 2008 (Best of College A Cappella), Sing IV, and Voices Only 2007.

Tonic and Gin

In the spring of 2004, a group of musicians-at-heart gathered together in the hopes of creating a new, fresh mix of voices.  What evolved from that first meeting was a collection of six singers ready to take on the Washington, D.C. a cappella scene.  Rehearsals began, gigs presented themselves, and the group began to mesh.  After endless discussions about what to call the group, it finally hit - Tonic & Gin!  A perfect name that exemplified not only the musicality of the group (“tonic” is the first note of a musical scale), but the fun spirit and nature of its members.

Today, Tonic & Gin continues on as a vibrant co-ed group of seven members dedicated to sharing a wide variety of music with intriguing arrangements, amazing soloists, and a whole lot of fun!   They perform at a variety of venues and for an array of different public and private events.
