Bethesda is the destination of choice for thousands of local residents and visitors to the Greater Washington, D.C. area. Downtown Bethesda is easily accessible by Metro, car, bus and bicycle. Bethesda has 17 public parking garages and surface lots, marked with a blue P, that put you within a short walk of downtown Bethesda destinations.

Del Ray Avenue Parking Lot Update
(Between Norfolk and Rugby Avenues)


On or about February 15, 2012, Montgomery County Division of Parking will close the Del Ray Avenue Public Parking Lot (Public Parking Lot 39).

Long-term and short-term parking is available at the Auburn-Del Ray Parking Garage (Garage 36). Garage 36 is conveniently located less than one block away.

This land will be incorporated into an assemblage of private properties on the block and redeveloped into a mixed-use development. The new development will include office and residential space.
