Tickets are not assigned seating. Doors open at 7pm for tickets and will call, open seating begins at 7:30pm.
Online ticket sales end at 10am on Saturday, February 27. Remaining tickets will go on sale at the door at 7pm at Round House Theatre. If you have additional questions, please call 240-876-7725.

Round House Theatre, 4545 East West Highway
Round House Theatre is located at the corner of East-West Highway. and Waverly Street. Free parking is available in the East-West Hwy./Waverly St. garage. The Bethesda Metro station is located at the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Old Georgetown Rd., one block from the Theatre. Directions to Round House Theatre.

ClancyWorks Dance Company
The ClancyWorks Dance Company is a collective of performing artists directed by Adrienne Clancy. The company is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in various communities by using the arts as a vehicle to develop mutual understanding and to advance positive social action. Current projects for the Company include: presenting national and local performances; conducting numerous workshops to participants of all ages and all levels of ability at national conferences, universities, public and private schools K-12; and holding the position of the Company in Residence for the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) in Baltimore and Montgomery Counties.

Dr. Janaki Rangarajan
Dr. Janaki Rangarajan is a Bharatanatyam (a classical style from South India) dancer. Janaki has been dancing since the age of four and has performed in the U.S., Canada, India and Thailand. She is an empanelled artists of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. In 2009, Janaki was selected to perform at multiple venues for Dance Metro/DC’s “Dance is the Answer” in Washington, D.C. and at the Downtown Dance Festival in New York City. Also in 2009, Janaki was a finalist in the “emerging choreographer” category of the Metro DC Dance Awards and was selected for choreography showcases at Dance Place and Joy of Motion Dance Center. For the past 6sixyears, Janaki has devoted her energy to develop her classical Indian dance and music school “Nrityaniketan” in Alexandria, VA.

Jason Garcia Ignacio
Jason was born in the Philippines and began dancing with the Gigi Felix Velarde Ballet Dance Workshop, Ballet Philippines and Philippine Ballet Theater. After studying Korean ritual dance Seoul, Korea, Jason moved to New York City and received a scholarship from Ballet Hispanico of NY, a fellowship from the Ailey School. Jason has toured with the Martha Graham Ensemble, and has worked with several dance companies including Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, Diversity of Dance, Zig-Zag Ballet, Connecticut Ballet and American Repertory Ballet. He has taught at Maryland Youth Ballet, Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, and is currently at CityDance. Jason has received numerous awards including the 2009 Mayor’s Arts Award for Outstanding Emerging Artist and 2009 Metro DC Dance Award for the Outstanding Individual Performance .

Karen Reedy Dance
Karen Reedy Dance (KRD) is a professional contemporary dance company committed to strengthening the presence and integrity of dance in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, particularly Alexandria, VA, and beyond. KRD is devoted to nurturing artists through the exploration of new work and collaboration with other art forms, in both traditional performance and site-specific venues, as well as looking towards future possibilities for the evolution of performance. KRD provides opportunities for education, awareness and appreciation of contemporary dance through live performance and educational programming.

Tappers with Attitude
The dancers of Tappers with Attitude Youth Ensemble (TWS) represent 15 schools across the Washington Metropolitan area. This dynamic tap repertory company preserves and promotes tap dance as a percussive art with an emphasis on the jazz tradition, and fosters a new generation to carry on the art. TWA, now in its 19th season, has received two Dance/Metro DC awards for Outstanding Youth Performance. They were honored to perform at the 1999 Kennedy Center Honors tribute, and were chosen to take part in an All-American tap ensemble at the Beijing International Dance Festival in 2007. Tappers with Attitude is under the direction of Victoria Moss, with Assistant Directors Yvonne Edwards and Lisa Swenton-Eppard.

Washington Reflections Dance Company
The Dance Institute of Washington’professional company was launched by Founder and Artistic Director Fabian Barnes in 2002 to provide dancers and choreographers opportunities to work in the professional arena. The presence of a professional company at the Dance Institute of Washington encourages students to study and work hard as they see careers in dance within reach. The company is known for its athletic and passionate contemporary ballet and modern dance. Washington Reflections Dance Company’s performances add a uniquely African American vibe to the nation’s rich cultural landscape.
