Directions
to the Bethesda Artist Market
Bethesda Place Plaza, corner of Woodmont Avenue
and Old Georgetown Road
From Maryland – North of Bethesda:
Take 270 South towards Washington.
Exit 270 at Rt. 355, Wisconsin Avenue, Exit #34.
Head South into downtown Bethesda (stay in the right hand lane).
Pass the National Institutes of Health on your right and the National
Naval Medical Center on your left.
You will then begin to enter downtown Bethesda.
Turn right onto Woodmont Avenue
Continue on Woodmont Avenue for several blocks (cross Battery Lane,
Rugby Avenue, Cordell Avenue, St. Elmo Avenue and Norfolk Avenue).
After you pass Norfolk Avenue, turn right into the public parking
garage along Woodmont Avenue (marked with a large blue “P”).
Parking is free on Saturdays, Sundays and Montgomery County holidays.
The Bethesda Artist Market is located in the Bethesda Place Plaza
at the corner of Woodmont Avenue and Old Georgetown Road.
From Maryland – Baltimore and
points East:
Take 95 South towards Washington.
Exit 95 at the Capital Beltway (495).
Head towards Silver Spring, MD.
Exit the Capital Beltway at Rt. 355, Wisconsin Avenue, Exit #34..
Stay in the right hand lane and follow the wrap-around to Bethesda.
This wrap-around ramp will take you to a stoplight.
Make a left onto 355/Wisconsin Avenue.
Head South into downtown Bethesda (stay in the right hand lane).

Take Massachusetts Avenue out of downtown Washington, DC.
Make a right onto Wisconsin Avenue.
Take Wisconsin Avenue into downtown Bethesda.
You will begin to enter downtown Bethesda after going through a
stoplight at Bradley Blvd.
Go a few stoplights (pass Bethesda Hyatt and Metro Center on your
left) and turn left onto Old Georgetown Road.
Go through one stoplight (stay in the right hand lane) and make
a right at the second stoplight onto Woodmont Avenue.
Turn left into the public parking garage along Woodmont Avenue (marked
with a large blue “P”). Parking is free on Saturdays,
Sundays and Montgomery County holidays.
